At Sushi Boom, we take pride in the quality of our food. If there is an issue with your order, we are committed to resolving it promptly and fairly. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
2. Eligibility for a Refund
We offer refunds only in the following cases:
- You received the wrong items — the order does not match what was placed
- The food was of unacceptable quality — spoiled, inedible, or significantly different from the description
Refunds are not issued for:
- Change of mind after the order has been confirmed
- Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
- Delays caused by DoorDash
- Personal taste preferences
3. How to Request a Refund

- A photo of the order if the issue is quality-related
We will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days.
4. Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed through Square Inc. and returned to the original payment method (credit or debit card).
Refund timing is determined by Square and your card issuer — typically 5–10 business days after approval, depending on your bank.
Sushi Boom has no control over the processing time once the refund has been initiated on our end.
5. Partial Refunds
In cases where only part of the order was incorrect or unsatisfactory, we may issue a partial refund corresponding to the affected items only.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Correctly prepared orders that have already been picked up or delivered
- Orders where the customer provided incorrect information (address, special instructions)
- Any issues arising from DoorDash delivery service
7. Order Cancellations
As stated in our Terms & Conditions, cancellations are only accepted before order confirmation. Orders that have been confirmed and sent to the kitchen cannot be cancelled or refunded on that basis.
